A fire broke out at BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad’s residence on Wednesday morning, January 14, 2026, Delhi Fire Service officials said. The fire started around 8:05 a.m. in some furniture inside one room. Three fire engines rushed to the spot and controlled the blaze. It is not yet known if Mr. Prasad was at home during the incident. Delhi Police's Forensics Team also arrived to investigate the cause. The exact reason for the fire is still under probe.
