On Sunday, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a video showing the moments before an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Good in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The footage reveals Good's car partly blocking a residential street in south Minneapolis. Several cars pass by, and uniformed agents stand nearby. Around 40 seconds in, Good moves inside her vehicle with honking heard in the background. About three minutes later, a truck believed to be an ICE vehicle arrives, and agents get out. The video ends just before the shooting. Other videos showing different angles have been shared online, increasing confusion over what truly happened. The Trump administration defended the ICE agent, stating that Good and her vehicle were a threat. However, local leaders and critics challenge this view. The shooting led to days of protests in Minnesota, with police using tear gas to disperse crowds on Tuesday. Additionally, state and local officials sued the federal government over the immigration enforcement actions that led to the incident. Renee Good was shot in her SUV on January 7 in a residential neighborhood south of downtown Minneapolis.
