New Video in Minneapolis ICE Agent Shooting Sparks Heated Debate
January 10, 2026
A new video reveals the moments before ICE agent Jonathan Ross shot Renee Good in Minneapolis. The agent says he acted in self-defense. The footage divides opinions online. MAGA supporters want Rebecca Good, Renee's partner, arrested. They claim Rebecca’s call, ‘Drive baby, drive,’ means they were taunting the agent. The video from Alpha News shows both Renee and Rebecca speaking to the ICE agent. Renee, sitting in the car, says calmly, “That’s fine dude, I'm not mad at you.” Rebecca, who was filming, says the car’s number plate is not changed every morning. The ICE agent asks Rebecca to get inside the car. Rebecca replies, “You wanna come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Go ahead.” Then the ICE agent falls after being hit by the car. Rebecca shouts, "Drive baby, drive!" MAGA supporters say the agent was hit before firing. They insist the Goods were aware they were ICE and were not scared. Democrats say the video shows Renee was not attacking the officer. They note her smile and calm words, saying she was turning the car away when shot. The debate continues as both sides interpret the new footage differently.
