The National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a charge sheet against two main shooters in the 2024 Neemrana hotel firing case on January 3, 2026. Puneet and Narinder Lalli were named in the charge sheet submitted before a court in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The charges include offences under the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, the Arms Act, and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Both accused are from Punjab and carried out the firing and threats to extort money from the Highway King Hotel owners in Neemrana, Haryana, said the NIA statement.
So far, nine accused have been charged in the case. The attack happened in September 2024 and was linked to the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), led by terrorist Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala, and the Bambiah gang. Planning was done by gang members Dinesh Gandhi and Saurabh Kataria. Puneet and Narinder executed the attack with protection from Dala and Gandhi, according to the agency.
The NIA investigation revealed that Puneet and Narinder used illegal weapons during the attack and issued threats on behalf of the syndicate. The duo reportedly received funds, shelter, and weapons regularly to further KTF’s aims, the probe agency said.
