Kalaburagi Police Arrest Two, Recover 14 Stolen Bikes Worth ₹12.5 Lakh

Kalaburagi district police arrested two men for stealing high-end motorcycles. They found 14 stolen two-wheelers worth ₹12.5 lakh with them. The accused are Nagesh R. Halagenur from Pastapur village in Chincholi taluk, and Gowdappa S. Kakkasagera from Rampur village in Jewargi taluk.
This action followed a complaint by Basavaraj Ankalagi about his stolen motorcycle in Hale Hebbal village under Madabool police limits. A special team was formed under Shahabad SDPO Shankargouda Patil and led by Kalagi Circle Inspector Jagadevapppa Pala.
During questioning, the accused admitted to several other thefts. They led the police to more stolen motorcycles. Both have been sent to judicial custody.
