Saudi Arabia Launches Special Stamp to Celebrate World Arabic Language Day
December 21, 2025
Saudi Arabia has launched a unique commemorative stamp to honor the Arabic language's rich heritage. This special stamp marks World Arabic Language Day, celebrated annually on December 18. The Ministry of Interior, with the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL), introduced this initiative to highlight the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving the Arabic language and culture.
Travelers can get this special stamp at key points: King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Jeddah Islamic Port in Makkah, and King Fahd Causeway in the Eastern Region. Placing the stamp at major entry and exit sites allows both residents and visitors to join the celebration.
This stamp is more than just a travel document; it is a symbolic tribute to the Arabic language. The partnership between the Ministry of Interior and KSGAAL shows ongoing efforts to promote national identity and linguistic heritage in modern public spaces.
