AP Backward Classes Association Seeks New Panchayat for Three Villages in Vizianagaram
December 19, 2025
Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Association’s Vizianagaram district president Golagana Ramesh Yadav on Friday requested the government to form a new panchayat for three villages: Nallalapeta, Bethanapalli, and Vudukulapeta. These villages lie on the outskirts of Vizianagaram. Mr. Ramesh Yadav said a new panchayat would help secure funds and bring development to the area. Currently, these villages fall under Pedatadivada panchayat in Denkada mandal of Nellimaarla constituency. They lack proper roads, drainage, and civic facilities. The association submitted a memorandum to Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy. Mr. Ramesh Yadav stated, "The move will benefit nearly 15,000 people living in those villages."
