Mumbai police seized a Lamborghini after its driver was found driving at a dangerous speed of 252 kmph on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The incident took place on December 12, and a case was registered after a video of the reckless driving came to light on December 17. An official said, "The video, shot inside the luxury sports car, shows its speedometer touching 252 kmph, while it was going towards the south end of the sea link, overtaking other vehicles." Police reviewed CCTV footage and found the car had violated speed limits multiple times, leading to several challans. The speed limit on the sea link is 80 kmph. Authorities have charged the unidentified driver with rash and negligent driving under section 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act. The Lamborghini has been seized, and further investigations are ongoing.
