Maris Stella College organised a floral show called 'Flori Expo' on Wednesday to celebrate National Farmers' Day. The event featured students' recycling models, working models, and innovative agricultural projects. The goal was to raise student awareness about new ideas in farming. Principal Inyasamma said, "Such events encourage a proactive mindset and strengthen students’ understanding of agriculture." The Head of Agriculture Department, Lakshmana Swamy, shared the expo’s objectives and its modern importance. Students from various schools and colleges took part. Activities included painting, quiz contests, and bouquet-making workshops. The main highlights were organic farming stalls, sales of organic products, and food stalls. College correspondent Leena Quadras and faculty members Gouthami, Tejasree, Raviteja, Lavanya, and Bhavya helped coordinate the event.
