West Bengal EC Lists Over 58 Lakh Deleted Voters Ahead of 2026 Assembly Polls

The Election Commission on Tuesday morning released the list of deleted voters from West Bengal's 2026 draft electoral rolls. The list, available on ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in/asd_sir, shows voters removed after being on the 2025 rolls. More than 58 lakh names were deleted due to absence from registered addresses, permanent shifts, death, or duplicate registration. The commission stated, "Aggrieved persons can submit their claims in Form 6 along with the Declaration Form and supporting documents after publication of draft roll during the period fixed for receiving claims and objections i.e. 16/12/2025 till 15/01/2026." The 294-member West Bengal Assembly elections are scheduled early next year.
