Code Fusion 2025 Coding Contest Sparks Innovation at Shetty Institute in Kalaburagi

The Coding Club of Shetty Institute of Technology (SIT), Kalaburagi, hosted Code Fusion 2025, an inter-college coding competition on December 13, 2025. The event took place on SIT’s campus and offered students a chance to show programming skills, share ideas, and solve problems. It aimed to boost collaboration, creativity, and tech excellence among young coders. The programme started with an inaugural session at the Shetty Group of Institutions auditorium. The contest was held in the AI–ML laboratory. Participants came from Visvesvaraya University, Sharnbasva University, and Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering. They displayed strong technical expertise. Winners shared ₹10,000 prize money. The first team took ₹5,000, second ₹3,000, and third ₹2,000. Director of SGI Anirudh Shetty and SIT Principal Prabhu G. Rakaraddi joined the event. They said coding contests help build analytical thinking, teamwork, and skills needed by the industry. The Coding Club organised the event with help from faculty coordinators Shweta More and Soumya. Organisers said Code Fusion 2025 laid the groundwork for future college partnerships and motivated students to explore new technologies and excel in computer science.
